Dear Fire Fighter Supporters

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting your local Fire Fighters' Association. With the purchase of these ticket vouchers through the High Point Fire Fighters Association, you show your support not only for your Fire Fighters but your community as well.

The High Point Fire Fighters Association is not a governmental agency and has no direct affiliation with the city of High Point or the High Point Fire Department. Who are we then? We are an organization within the High Point Fire Department whose primary function is to promote and ensure the health, safety, rights and general welfare of firefighters as well as the citizens we serve. We are also a civic organization as well. Our proceeds are put back into the local community by supporting the many programs listed below. Our membership consists of members of the High Point Fire Department. We are a not-for-profit professional organization (with over 300,000 members nationwide), therefore these tickets are not tax-deductable as charitable contributions unless you donate your ticket vouchers to a charitable organization such as the ARC of High Point. Please be assured that the High Point Fire Fighters Association and the communities we serve will benefit from your contribution.

If you are unable to join us, simply mail your tickets and the invoice back to us with your check or money order and we will be grateful for the donation.

Once again we thank you for your support. It is friends like yourself that make a difference.

and special training on the lastest fire fighting, EMS and leadership issues.

locally to firefighter’s families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
The same assistance is provided to the families of local police officers who
have lost a loved one in the line of duty.

Honor Guard: Provides uniforms and equipment for the firefighters’
honor guard who, when requested will provide the funeral sevices for fallen firefighters or deceased
firefighters both locally and statewide.

Youth Athletics: Provides sponsorship to local youth soccer and baseball teams, as well as the Miracle League of High Point.

Lobby For Stronger Laws: Legislative efforts on behalf of firefighters to help prevent injury and death in the line of duty and to protect citizens.

MDA/Jerry’s Kids: Supports the MDA in continued research for the prevention, treatment and eventual cure of Muscular Dystrophy.

V.I.P. for a V.I.P.: Vehicle Injury Prevention for a Very Important Person Program that very graphically portrays the dangers of drinking and driving to high school students through the re-creation of a fatal vehicle accident. Actual Firefighters, Paramedics and police officers participate in this event, not actors.

The firefighters work on these programs while off duty and do not receive payment.  Their goal is to cut down on the accidents and deaths caused by fire.  Perhaps with your support, they will achieve this goal.
